Women After 5 with Helen Garner – meet the woman behind the title

We welcome you back to our Women After 5 for 2022!  We have some exciting events lined up for you this year and no virus is going to stop our momentum.  This is the year for reflection and growth, grabbing opportunities and ticking those unticked boxes.  For two years we have all been in hiding, fearing the worst, getting our heads around the new norm, trying to survive the onslaught of the big C-word.  It is clear that C-word is not going anywhere, so let’s just get on with it as best we can.

We present to you Helen Garner our new Chief Executive of the Chamber.  Helen built her professional career in a diverse range of environments and has first-hand experience in the differing cultures of small business, large corporates, local government and not-for-profit organisations.  She is an experienced business leader, mentor, manager, strategist and communicator and holds close to heart community development and engagement.

We asked her to be a speaker at the event, not as CE but as Helen Garner, sharing with us her wisdom ranging from connecting your business to the world, mentoring inside and outside your business, and how to handle the rapidly changing environments we will be facing this year whilst remaining calm and focused.
